No language barrier, Zinedine Zidane open to manage Manchester United
Zinedine Zidane is reportedly ready to get away with the language barrier to be a manager in the English Premier League. The latest reports claim that the former World Champion has made a U-turn in this regard. In the past, Zinedine was hesitant to not be a coach in the English Premier League, given his problem with not-so-fluent English. However, the latest reports have claimed otherwise.
In a past interview, Zidane claimed to be knowing English completely. However, when asked if he would love to coach an English club, Zidane added that he is not fluent in the language. He added that knowing the language is important for him to coach a team while acknowledging the fact that other managers do manage other clubs without language being a problem.
Zidane claimed that many elements come into play in order to win. He had been denied the chance to manage an English back in 2022. “I understand English, but I’m not completely fluent in it. I know that there are coaches who go to clubs without speaking the language, but I work in a different way. Many elements come into play in order to win, it is a global context. I know what I need to win,” said Zidane in an interview.
Will Zinedine Zidane be Manchester United’s next manager?
However, the latest reports have ignited hope among the United fans. Ever since Erik Ten Hag announced his decision to step down as United’s manager following the current season, there was a worry among the fans. Roberto De Zorzi, the manager of Brighton, is the likely candidate to be the next manager of Manchester United. However, Zidane could be a great option.
Zidane helped Real Madrid to win three Champions League titles. It happens to be his only club where he has been a manager. If United can convince him to be their coach, it could be a win-win situation. Manchester United will be up against Manchester City in their next match. The fans are excited to witness the Manchester derby unfold.
