Peter Crouch slips over at Molineux ahead of match between Liverpool and Wolves

Ahead of the match between Wolves and Liverpool, two former Football players, Joe Cole and Peter Crouch, were invited for the pre-match show. The two former players analyzed the strengths and weaknesses of the two teams ahead of the match. The show was good to watch. There were a lot of insights about the teams from the conversation. 

After the interaction, the two former players were asked to kick the ball and score a goal as a friendly exercise. The former Chelsea player was the first one to attempt the shot. Cole nailed the kick by scoring the goal. The kick from the English football coach was good to watch, as he hit it exactly in the middle of the goalpost. But the same cannot be said about Peter Crouch.

The former Liverpool player attempted to kick the ball. As he was about to kick, he slipped and fell in the process. The ball was out of the target. The presenter and Cole had a laugh about the incident. Crouch too had a laugh about his inability to score the goal. Cole took a dig at Crouch and said, “That is what TNT Sports wanted from you.” Crouch saw the funny side of the incident and did not take it seriously. 

Back in his days, Cole was a gifted midfielder. The former English player could play alongside offensive midfielders. Cole was known for his dribbling skills, who could create chances and score goals for his team. Their dribbling skills of Cole were praised by the Brazilian legend Pele himself. Some others feel that Cole failed to live up to the expectations of the fans. 

Peter Crouch was a forward. The former English player was known for his physical strength and athleticism. Crouch mostly played as a Centre-forward in his career. Crouch holds the record for the most number of goals as headers in the history of the Premier League. He is known for his amazing longevity.
