India’s star batter Rinku Singh is gearing up to earn medals in the upcoming Asian Games, which is set to take place on 23 September in China. Notably, the star batter came to the limelight when he smashed five straight sixes against Gujarat Titans bowler Yash Dayal in the last over during IPL 2023. These 5 sixes have not only changed his life but also got him a place in the playing XI on the Ireland tour.

​Meanwhile, the 25-year-old cricketer has recently opened up about his desire to win the gold medal in the upcoming Asian Games. The great middle-order batter is confident of an India vs Pakistan clash in the final game. In addition, the star KKR batter is quite thrilled to play under Ruturaj Gaikwad in the upcoming Asian Games.

“I am confident of an India vs Pakistan final in the Asian Games. I am also hoping for the same. We have got a strong and solid side. We have stars and talented players. We have a talented captain in Ruturaj (Gaikwad) bhai. I am really excited to play under him and join the Indian team as soon as possible. I am confident India will win a gold medal at the Asian Games. I am very excited,” Rinku Singh said on Times of India.

In addition, the left-handed batter has also talked about the UP T20 League. The young cricketer feels this tournament was a big stage for players like him who can showcase their talent as well as learn from the senior members to improve his skills. “I am really thankful to the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association for organizing this tournament. This tournament is a big stage for youngsters to showcase their talent and learn from seniors. This is good for players and their families too,” he added further.
