‘It is frustrating but the cricket has increased these days………’ – Ravindra Jadeja opens up on injury concerns

India’s star cricketer, Ravindra Jadeja, has recently opened up about an injury scare in the cricket team. Notably, the great all-rounder had to miss the second Test in Vizag owing to hamstring injuries he sustained; however, he went to NCA and made himself available for the third Test, which had already commenced on February 15 in Rajkot.

However, Ravindra Jadeja revealed that he likes to give 100 per cent and has tried to keep his body fit. The great all-rounder says that he does not exert much pressure when he is away from the game. In addition, the 35-year-old cricketer feels that one should not think about injury as well as how it can harm the body. Ravindra Jadeja feels that one needs to work smartly on their body and do it carefully to avoid problems. However, the CSK star accepted that there would be no guarantee of injury among the players.

“I would like to give my 100% and save my body and keep away from diving when not required. That’s it. I don’t think about that too much because it has happened before. As the match progresses, the body will get used to the flow and you will forget that there was an injury. I will get into rhythm in one or two days. Can get injured again tomorrow. I can work on my body more smartly and do it carefully and hope there will be no problem. But there is no guarantee,” Ravindra Jadeja told the reporters.

I am always in hotspots in any format and that may be the reason: Ravindra Jadeja

Ravindra Jadeja feels it is frustrating to have injuries as they are set to play back-to-back cricket matches for Team India. Furthermore, the left-handed batter tries to stay fit for India in all three formats.

“It is frustrating but the cricket has increased these days and that is at the back of the mind always. Can’t hide anywhere in the field, I am always in hotspots in any format and that may be the reason,” he added further.
