Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti reveals what Jude Bellingham said before getting red card against Valencia
Jude Bellingham was handed the red card after the match between Real Madrid and Valencia on Sunday. A controversy broke out during the dying moment of the game as the referee blew the whistle even before the end of the full time. As he realized the mistake, the referee allowed the players to continue the play. And when Real Madrid had their control over the ball, the referee committed another blunder.
The Englishman was on his way to score the third goal for Real Madrid. As the score was tied at 2-2, Bellingham aimed a shot towards the goalpost. Just when the ball approached towards the goalpost in the air, the referee blew the whistle for full-time. The fans of Madrid were furious with the decision of the referees. The players of Real Madrid were unhappy as the goal was not given to them.
In fact, the replies showed that the goal was scored even before the whistle was blown. As the players started to argue with the on-field referees, Bellingham got a bit overboard and argued with the referees. For his act, the referees handed him the red card. It did not go well with the manager and coach of Real Madrid, Carlo Ancelotti, who reacted to the incident.
‘He just told the referee: it’s f*cking goal’ – Carlo Ancelotti
In the post-match talk, Ancelotti was asked to say about the red card handed to Jude. He backed the 20-year-old and said “What to say… there is not much to say. Something unprecedented has happened.” Carlo was unhappy with the decision of the referees for not giving the goal and for handing the English player the red card. He addressed the issue in the speech.
Carlo revealed what Jude told to the referees. Contrary to the claims, Carlo added that Jude did not insult Gil Manzano and added that he told the referee that it was a ‘f*cking goal’. “We’re not happy with Jude’s red card. He just told the referee: it’s f*cking goal. He didn’t insult Gil Manzano,” added Carlo in his statement.
