Reports: American wrestler Bianca Belair is expected to take break for around three months

According to sources, American wrestler Bianca Belair is expected to take a break for around three months. Just a few days ago, the 34-year-old wrestler defeated Asuka and Charlotte Flair to claim the WWE Women’s Championship. Notably, some reports suggest that she is taking the break owing to the knee injury, while others seem to be clamouring for a mental break.

In addition, after being called up to the main roster just over a decade ago, Belair has been a true worker in the WWE women’s division, never taking a break; thus, she has undoubtedly earned a few days off after such a period of time. Notably, Belair claimed the third women’s title at Summer Slam by defeating Asuka and Charlotte Flair in a Triple Threat match; however, Iyo Sky of Damage CTRL quickly surpassed her and took the title after successfully cashing in her Money in the Bank agreement.

Bianca Belair could potentially be an integral part of the faction after returning

“We’ve basically been filming all the way up since January. We kind of finished wrapping up yesterday, just yesterday, and it’s been pretty much ongoing like Smackdown, live event, live event, sometimes Raw, and then you will film, film, film, film, and then you go back home, and pretty much also, you go back on the road, and then you do the live shows again. So, we’ve been doing that non-stop for the last, pretty much, eight months,” Montez Ford, Belair’s husband, told Nick Hausman of Haus of Wrestling.

In addition, it’s likely that once Belair returns, she is going to become part of the faction that comprises Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits. Although presented as heels, that new faction can now be viewed as babyfaces owing to the favourable response they gained from the audience. Notably, Belair could potentially be an integral part of the faction.
