Return of Jey Uso in Payback leads to WWE changing status of new member of RAW roster

Published on

So many things have escalated so quickly in the WWE universe over the past month or so. Jimmy Uso betrayed his brother Jey Uso in the Summer Slam match, which helped Roman Reigns to defend his title. As the tribal chief was impressed by the betrayal of Jimmy, he invited Jimmy to be the right hand. But Jimmy denied saying his act had nothing to do with the head of the bloodline.

In the Friday night Smackdown, Jimmy explained to Jey why he betrayed him in the Summer Slam. Jimmy said he did not want his brother Jey to be corrupt like Roman. Following the arguments, Jey super-kicked Roman and Solo Sikoa. Further, Jey agonizingly super-kicked Jimmy to vent out his frustration. Following the incidents, Jey did something which was totally unexpected.

Jey said that he was out of the bloodline, he was out of the Smackdown, and he was out of the WWE! And Jey just announced that he quit WWE, which shocked the fans totally. In a moment of frustration, Jey disappeared from the WWE universe for a few weeks. Following Jey’s statement, the WWE universe had declared him an ‘alumnus’, which meant that Jey was no longer a member of the WWE.

WWE changes the status of Jey Uso following his return in Payback

As surprising as the exit of Jey was, the superstar surprised the fans with his comeback in the Payback. It was as unexpected as his exit from the WWE. Fans probably had not expected the quick return of Jey. As Cody Rhodes announced the return of the new member of the Raw roster, the fans were stunned to see Jey back in the ring. It is to be seen how WWE brings him back to action.

Following the return of Jey in Payback, WWE has changed the status of the superstar again. From Alumni, Jey has been changed to the status of a member of the RAW roster. With Jimmy potentially feuding with John Cena, it is to be seen with whom Jey will resume his action.
