Roderick Strong officially parts ways with WWE; Triple H, Kane square off in controversy

This week’s performance on AEW Dynamite celebrated Roderick Strong’s separation from WWE. Before leaving the company, Strong was predominantly seen on the NXT brand after signing with it in 2016. Although a skilled wrestler, he hasn’t been given much attention lately because his most recent battle was in August 2022.

Many wrestling fans were taken aback by Strong’s presence on Dynamite and are now curious about what his future may hold. Strong tweeted following his appearance on Dynamite to confirm that he is now available for new engagements. Strong’s next step is still unknown, but his skills and expertise will unquestionably make him a useful addition to any promotion.

Tony Khan made the official announcement that the former cruiserweight champion is now a member of the AEW roster following Wednesday’s show. Strong’s exit from WWE is another illustration of how the professional wrestling industry is evolving as more gifted wrestlers look for other options outside of WWE.

Kane and Triple H involved in controversy

The Game claimed that Kane was a killer as part of the angle. After learning that The Big Red Machine’s ex-partner Katie Vick had perished in a vehicle accident, Triple H made fun of his competitor.

“I was so against that. I was so appalled and embarrassed by that, that I barely remember that. Things that are that disturbing to me and are that gross, I just tend to wipe my memory, especially if I’ve had nothing to do with it,” former creative director David Sahadi told The Insiders.
