Roman Reigns signs contract for Fatal Four match at Royal Rumble 2024, before getting RKO-ed

Published on

The contract signing for the Fatal Four match between Roman Reigns, A J Styles, L A Knight, and Randy Orton at the Royal Rumble 2024 turned out to be a complete mess. Things got worse for the Bloodline when Roman and co attacked the three competitors in the triple threat match last week in the Smackdown where they were competing against each other for a spot in Royal Rumble 2024.

As Styles, Knight, and Orton felt they deserved to face the Tribal Chief at the Royal Rumble 2024, a Fatal Four match was announced by Nick Aldis. The match at Smackdown was incomplete as Roman attacked all the players after a terrific fight. It led to Aldis announcing the Fatal Four match at the Royal Rumble 2024.

The contract signing for the same took in the latest episode of Smackdown. In the first instance, it could not happen. While Styles, Orton, and Knight signed it, Roman did not agree to sign. On behalf of the Bloodline, Paul Heyman said that Roman would not be taking on all four at the same time and would rather love a one-on-one match. Aldis warned them that the match would happen between the three for a vacant championship.

Randy Orton RKOs Roman Reigns out of nowhere!

The Bloodline however did not care to the warning of Aldis. Later in the night, Randy was up against Solo Sikoa in the main event. The match saw an abrupt ending as Jimmy Uso tried to interfere in it. L A Knight sent him back with a BFT. Randy Orton then RKO-ed Solo and claimed a win before Roman attacked him in the middle to the boos from the fans.

After the move, Roman annoyingly saw the face of Aldis and signed the contract to take part in the Fatal Four match at Royal Rumble 2024. The world champion then got prepared to spare Randy. As Orton regained consciousness, Roman tried to spare Randy. But Orton came up with an RKO out of nowhere to make a statement to the Bloodline.
