In the finals of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2023, Chennai Super Kings is set to face Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Ahead of the final game, the last match hero of GT and orange Cap holder Shubman Gill has been praised by legendary Sachin Tendulkar. Tendulkar, in a recent post, wrote a long message to praise Gill and his batting performances.

Tendulkar, in his post, praised Gill’s knock against RCB and Mumbai Indians. He also spoke about the upcoming game and analysed the match in his way. He said, “Shubman Gill’s performance this season has been nothing short of unforgettable, marked by two centuries that left an indelible impact. One century ignited @mipaltan’s hopes, while the other dealt them a crushing blow. Such is the unpredictable nature of cricket!”

“What truly impressed me about Shubman’s batting was his remarkable temperament, unwavering calmness, hunger for runs and astute running between the wickets”, he further added. Notably, Gill scored a brilliant century against Royal Challengers Bangalore to knock them out of the tournament while scoring 129 runs against MI to stop them in the qualifiers.

Tendulkar further praised Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Verma for fighting back in the game against Gujarat Titans. “It was a display of his capacity to seize the momentum and make a profound impact on the game. Likewise, Mumbai briefly got back into the game with @TilakV9’s blistering 24 runs against @MdShami11 and was alive till @surya_14kumar got out”, he further added. Notably, Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Verma were single-handedly taking the game away from GT until Mohit Sharma dismissed them. At a point it was looking like MI’s game still they were far behind the target.”

However, in the end, Sachin Tendulkar pen down his analysis for the final game and called it a battle of batters. He said that the wickets of Gill, David Miller and Hardik Pandya will be crucial for Chennai Super Kings. “Gujarat is a formidable side and the wickets of Shubman Gill, Hardik Pandya & David Miller will be key for Chennai tonight. Chennai also bats deep with MS Dhoni coming in as low as number 8, hence it could be a case of one team out-batting the other. It’s going to be an interesting Final to watch”, he said.
