Seth Rollins set to defend his world title on WWE SmackDown against The Demon

The Kings Slayer, Seth Rollins is among the most competitive as well as dedicated that fans have come across in recent times. Rollins is the recent WWE World Heavyweight Champion, and soon after winning the title, the current champion made it crystal clear that he will be a workhorse champion. Following this, he will be all set to stand by his decision and also promised that he will be defending the title against Finn Balor in the upcoming SmackDown main event.

Ever since Rollins won the brand-new title, the two have been at odds. After a minor “misunderstanding” between Balor and fellow stablemate Damian Priest, Seth was able to retain the championship in the recently concluded Money in the Bank premium live event. The feud, however, continued following Rollins’ RAW bout against Dominik Mysterio when Balor attacked him once more. This Friday at Madison Square Garden, the pair will have a chance to resolve their disagreements within the squared circle.

The arena is set to host SmackDown, which is advertising a World Heavyweight Championship between them. It is also noted that the scheduled match has every possibility of being a dark match which is usually recorded even before or after the show for the live crowd as well as it does not air on TV Programming.

Since earning the title, Seth Rollins has vigorously defended it, living up to his claim that he is a fighting champion. Even if he didn’t put the championship on the line on Monday, he did compete against Dominik Mysterio. However, after Damian Priest attacked The Visionary, the match was declared a no-contest.

Additionally, The Archer of Infamy appeared prepared to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase, but Finn Balor entered the room before Priest could make the announcement and assaulted Rollins. The former WWE Champion slapped Dominik with a pedigree and escaped backstage as the Judgment Day members got into a fight.
