‘Shameless dismissal on nothing ball’- Fans can’t stop criticizing Virat Kohli after another failure in Test Cricket
Kohli showed great intent after he came onto the crease on Day 2 of the first Test. He played two great shots for four before Lunch break and reached 12 off 25 balls. However, on his very first ball after Lunch, debutant Toddy Murphy accounted for his wicket on a ball which he too wouldn’t really be proud.
The ball was going down the leg side but Virat Kohli wanted to work that fine for four. As it turned out, he only got a fine edge and Alex Carey showed his reflexes to great effect to pluck a difficult catch.
It was Murphy’s fourth wicket and it left Virat Kohli in complete disbelief. Virat Kohli hasn’t made a good amount of runs in Test Cricket, lately, and it was an opportunity for him to change his fortunes.
Kohli looked good during his stay at the crease but was unlucky to get out on bad delivery. Here’s how fans reacted to Kohli’s knock:
Nothing new here. move on
