Mbappe will be aiming to help Didier Deschamps’ side in reaching a second consecutive World Cup final and become the first team to retain the title since Brazil back in 1962. The 23-year-old is the top scorer of the tournament right now with five goals, although he failed to score against the English side.

Mbappe ran the risk of taunting England spectators with his approach during the quarterfinal match despite his friendly meeting with opposite number Rashford. Later in the game, Kane was given a second opportunity to equalize the score from the penalty spot, but he missed the mark.
