India vs Australia 2023
‘Story time se aajati hai par run nahi aate’ – Fans troll Virat Kohli over cryptic social media post after WTC 2023 final loss against Australia
Star Indian batter Virat Kohli took to social media to share a cryptic story after a loss in the World Test Championship final against Australia at the Oval, England. India suffered a huge defeat in their second WTC as Australia won the match by 209 runs to clinch the Test mace in their first appearance.
After the match, Kohli shared a quote on his social media that says. “Silence is the source of great strength.” After that, he is getting trolled by the fans all over social media as India lost another important international knockout game. Notably, Kohli carried the hope for India to win the match as he remained unbeaten on 44 runs at the end of Day 4 four along with Ajinkya Rahane. However, he could only add 5 more runs to his score and got out after scoring 49 runs, followed by a regular fall of wickets that lead to a big defeat for India.
India suffered a big defeat in their second consecutive WTC final
Talking about the match summary, After being asked to bat first, Australia posted a total of 469 runs in their first innings, powered by the centuries by Steve Smith (121 runs) and Marnus Labuschagne (164 runs), In reply India could only reach to 296 runs as Ajinkya Rahane turned to be the top scorer for the team. Playing his comeback match, Rahane got out after scoring 89 runs off 129 balls. While Shardul Thakur also went on to score his third consecutive fifty at the Oval.
After getting a big first-innings lead, Australia declared their second innings 270 runs for the loss of 8 wickets giving India a mammoth target of 444 runs. Alex Carey top-scored 66 runs off 105 balls. Chasing the winning total, India lost early wickets as the score was reduced to 93 for 3. After that Kohli and Rahane put up a partnership of 86 runs for the fourth wicket. However, after the partnership was broken, the Australian bowlers ddin’t took much time to take the rest of the wickets as India lost their 7 wickets for 70 runs on Day 5 and were bowled out for 234 runs.
This was India’s second consecutive loss in the WTC final, as they also lost the previous edition in 2021 against New Zealand by 8 wickets. While, on the other hand, Australia have completed their trophy cabinet as now they have won every single international trophy including World Cup, the 20-20 World Cup, the Champions Trophy, and now the World Test Championship.
Enough man, they have to themselves retrospect and give the way for youngsters. In tests bowlers are sticking longer than top order batsmen in the crease. Cricket is a festival here in India but these guys are letting down India and Indians.

Bass kar bhai. Even your fans such as me think that on-field performance would have been better, instead of these quotes.
