The Finals developers promise to address “pain points” in future update

Published on

Now that the holidays are over, game developers are back to address the issues their game might have. The Finals also saw a huge success during its launch, however, it was not perfect.

There were several complaints regarding class abilities, the battle pass, daily challenges and other similar issues. Responding to all the issues, the developers on the official discord server responded to the players promising to address the “pain points”.

In their statement, the developer said, “We’ve been keeping track of the current conversation around all of the pain points and the gears are in motion for the coming weeks. Expect some updates.

What are the pain points?

Players recently noticed the daily challenges that allowed them to progress were not available, making them miss out on the XP points. The developers quickly implemented a fix for the issue, which was quite impressive.

Another issue that players were raising was the Battle Pass. As per reports, the entire Battle Pass takes around 100 hours to complete. This was a concern for the majority of the player base, as the Battle Pass only consisted of cosmetic items.

Some were asking for nerfs to certain class abilities, while others demanded a nerf to the aim-assist for controller players, calling it very overpowered due to auto snapping ability.

The bigger problem with the game is cheaters. The game currently uses Easy anti-cheat, however, it is not effective against all cheats. The same anti-cheat is also used in other games like Apex Legends, which also faces a similar problem.

However, players still have faith in the developers to fix these problems in the near future. The number of daily players across all platforms also remains quite high. Upcoming updates will further clarify the changes developers make.
