The IPL 2024 Auctions are just under a month away and the ten teams and their fans are waiting to see with bated breath. On 26th November the retention and release list of all ten teams will be revealed with the trade window set to close down on December 12.

On Saturday news came out that Hardik Pandya is set to be traded to his former side Mumbai Indians. As per reports the trade in question was supposed to be a cash deal where the Mukesh Ambani-owned side was set to pay INR 15 Crores.

Shardul Thakur – From Delhi Capitals to Kolkata Knight Riders

The Indian all-rounder saw his stocks rise after his terrific performances for India in 2021 and 2022. In the IPL format, Shardul Thakur played a crucial role in CSK’s title win in 2021 before moving to Delhi Capitals the next season. Former IPL winners Kolkata Knight Riders paid INR 10.75 Crores to Delhi Capitals to make it one of biggest player trades in IPL history.

Quinton De Kock – Royal Challengers Bangalore to Mumbai Indians –

South Africa’s wicket-keeper and batter Quinton De Kock was playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore before he was traded to Mumbai Indians. The trade was worth INR 2.8 Crores and this took place in 2019 to make it one of the biggest trades in IPL history. Quinton De Kock helped the Mumbai Indians win two titles in 2019 and 2020.

Shikhar Dhawan – Sunrisers Hyderabad to Delhi Capitals –

Delhi Capitals carried out a unique IPL Trade when they swapped three players to get Shikhar Dhawan back into their team. Vijay Shankar, Shahbaz Nadeem, and Abhishek Sharma were swapped to acquire the services of the then-Indian opener.

Ravichandran Ashwin – Kings XI Punjab to Delhi Capitals

One of the biggest IPL Trades ahead of the 2020 season was the trade of Punjab skipper Ravichandran Ashwin to Delhi Capitals. The Indian off=spinner was acquired to give the Delhi team the much-needed strength in the spin department.

Harshal Patel – Delhi Capitals to Royal Challengers Bangalore

In what was a huge mistake ahead of the IPL 2021 season, Delhi Capitals traded Harshal Patel to Royal Challengers Bangalore. The medium pacer from Haryana took the tournament by storm as he ended up as the leading wicket-taker and went on to make his debut for India soon after.
