‘Udta teer mat lo, yeh gaaliyan sun raha hun Naveen naam par’ – Fans roast Harbhajan Singh for asking Virat Kohli ‘not to get involved in verbal fights’
Two-time World Cup winner for India, Harbhajan Singh has urged the likes of Virat Kohli and Naveen Ul Haq not to get involved in fights. The duo got into a heated verbal battle at the end of the 16th over. This started after the verbal battle between Mohammed Siraj and Naveen. This led to Kohli standing up for Siraj and having a heated argument with the Afghanistan player.
However, this didn’t end there. It continued after the game ended with RCB winning by 18-odd runs. After the game, while the players were shaking hands, Haq refused to do it. Also, despite LSG skipper KL Rahul insisting Naveen talk with Kohli. However, the right-arm pacer refused and walked away. Meanwhile, Harbhajan has reacted to the entire incident.
Ashamed of what I did to Sreesanth: Harbhajan Singh
While reacting to the Virat-Naveen incident, Singh recalled his incident with Sreesanth. In the first season of the IPL in 2008, Singh slapped Sreesanth after the Mumbai Indians vs Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings), something went bad between the former India players. After this, the right-arm pacer, Sreesanth was seen crying after being slapped.
Over the years, Singh and Sreesanth have played for India and other teams in the league. A few years back, they retired from the game and have now joined the commentary team
“I am ashamed of what I did with Sreesanth in 2008. Virat Kohli is a legend, should not get involved in such things. Whatever happened between Virat and Gambhir was not right for cricket,” Singh said on his Youtube channel.
Meanwhile, the fans aren’t happy with Singh trying to suggest what would Kohli and Naveen could have done.

Everything has a limit, Virat is counted among such great players, we all are his fans, but this was not expected from him, everyone's sentiments have been hurt. We are fans of cricket, not of such debates.#LSGvsRCB #viratkholi 🥺

Whatever happened between Virat and Gambhir? Or whatever Gautam Gambhir an arrogant politician did with the legend player today?
Why is a mentor even talking to the players and doing all the gestures in Chinnaswamy and wherever. He is a nobody in the IPL now. He should stay out— Siddharth Jain (@Sidbarjatya1112) May 2, 2023
Why your video did not came when Gautam Gambhir showed that gesture when Lsg defeated RCB at that time they were telling that Gautam is animated and how when Virat has repayed back then all these videos are coming don't show this kind of hypocrisy
