VCT 2024 China Kickoff: All teams and complete schedule

Published on

China’s Kickoff for Valorant Champions Tour 2024 starts in February. Eleven teams are ready to face each other at the opening matches and make their way to the Playoffs to secure a spot in Masters Madrid.

However, there are only two spots compared to 11 teams, so everyone is expecting a tough tournament. The group stages will already see five teams eliminated by the end and three moving to Play-in.

Group stage format

The 11 teams will be divided into three groups, with matches played in a three double-elimination best-of-three format. One of the groups will have three teams, including the top team from Champions 2023 who will get a bye in the opening match.

Group stage opening match schedule

Group A (February 22)

Trace Esports Vs TYLOO
FunPlus PhoenixNova Esports

Group B (February 23)

JD Gaming Vs Titan Esports Club
Dragon Ranger Gaming Vs All Gamers

Group C (February 23)

Bilibili Gaming Vs Wolves Esports

Playoffs and Play-in

The Playoff will feature four teams playing in a single elimination bracket. All matches except the grand final will be played as best-of-three. Both teams reaching the grand final will secure a spot in Masters Madrid, however, only the winner will receive Championship Points.

The top teams from each group will secure a direct spot in the Playoffs that will take place starting next month. These teams will make up three out of four spots. The teams in the second spot will have to compete once again in the Play-in.

The winner of the Play-in will then become the final squad, joining the part at Playoffs. Play-in will feature a single round-robin group, where a single loss can prove disastrous.
