Team India is all set to lock horns against Australia on October 8 in Chennai to commence their journey to the ODI World Cup 2023. Notably, the Men in Blue have started practising in the nets with their new orange practice jersey. Meanwhile, India’s star cricketers Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah were recently spotted having fun in the nets. The clip has gone viral with flourishing comments.

Notably, a day before, former India skipper Virat Kohli was spotted imitating Jasprit Bumrah’s bowling action during practice sessions. This is not the first time India’s stalwart Virat Kohli has been seen having fun. The 34-year-old cricketer was also seen doing a comical dance while serving drinks in the Super Fours clash against Bangladesh in the Asia Cup 2023.

Following the same, the stylish right-handed batter was seen with his unique dance moves while teasing Australia middle-order batsman Marnus Labuschagne during a drinks break in the third ODI against Australia on September 27 at Rajkot. Meanwhile, the top-order batter will be an imperative player for the ODI World Cup 2023.

Virat Kohli will be looking to break Sachin Tendulkar’s ODI century record in the ODI World Cup 2023

The 2011 World Cup-winning star Virat Kohli will be looking to break Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar’s ODI century record in the marquee event. The star cricketer has played 281 matches while accumulating 13088 runs in the 50-over format. In addition, the RCB batter has 47 centuries and 66 fifties to his name.

In addition, Team India didn’t have a decent start in the Asia Cup 2023 group stage; however, they bounced back in the Super Fours of the Asia Cup 2023, which helped them clinch the eighth title of the Continental Cup. Ahead of the ODI World Cup 2023, Team India also recorded a great win against Pat Cummins and Co. at Mohali and in Indore, which places them at the top spot of the ODI rankings and makes them favourites to lift the title as the host.
