WATCH: Australia commentators discuss MS Dhoni’s new bat sponsorship during second T20I between Australia and West Indies

Former India skipper MS Dhoni has found a new bat sponsorship in the form of a shop’s name, started by his old friend. His friend owns a sports shop that sells sports goods for various sports. Ahead of the IPL 2024, Dhoni has started practicing in the nets for the seventeenth season. In one of his photos, the shop’s name can be seen on his bat sticker.

Meanwhile, during the second T20I between Australia and West Indies, the Aussie commentators were heard talking about Dhoni’s new sponsor. In the commentary box, ODI World Cup winners during their careers, Mike Hussey and Adam Gilchrist were in the comm box, alongside others. The former is part of the coaching staff of the IPL 2024 defending champions, Chennai Super Kings.

The former Australia wicketkeeper batter asked Hussey about his plans for the cash-rich league. Hussey replied that he would leave for India 10 days ahead of the tournament. At that point, Australia were batting.
