Watch: Babar Azam’s ‘uncensored’ video while sweating in nets goes viral

The Pakistan Cricket Team is currently is Sri Lanka for a two-match series that is scheduled to kickstart on July 16 at the Galle International Cricket Stadium. The visitors have already started their preparations that are in full swing ahead of the first Test. From the practice session, a video of Pakistani skipper Babar Azam’s net practice got viral and fans got a closer look at Babar’s preparations ahead of the series.

The video was shared by Cricket Pakistan on social media where the the number one ranked ODI batter can be seen knocking the ball comfortably in both directions of the wicket, also instructing the person delivering the throwdown to surprise him with bouncers. The video starts with Babar saying saying “Allah” just after leaving a ball outside the off-stumps.

The Pakistani skipper then rectifies his mistake by timing the ball perfectly towards covers, after which, he said, “Babar day bachay!” The 28-year-old has been seen at his animated best throughout the 1 minute 28 seconds long clip. He was also seen appreciating some of his shots as he can be heard saying “Haye Haye” right after knocking the ball towards mid-on, or the “oye lala” remark after pulling a short delivery towards square leg. Eventually, Babar got engaged in a chat with the bowler asking him “bouncer apni marzi se maro,” before adding “woh poochke thori karaienge (the opposition won’t ask me before bowling a bouncer.)”

Shaheen Afridi returns to Pakistan squad

Notably, Pakistan have announced a 16-Men squad for the upcoming Two-match Test series. The series will also mark the return of the star pacer Shaheen Afridi to international cricket. The 23-year-old had missed out on international commitments due to a troubled knee. While he was recording from his injury, Pakistan hosted England and Australia for a home Test series.
