Watch : Bizarre incident sees a girl kiss Virat Kohli’s wax statue at Madame Tussauds in Delhi

Virat Kohli is the superstar of modern-day cricket and his fan following around the world is huge. Every cricket fan would have once dreamt about meeting Kohli and chatting with them. But sometimes, fans go rather bizarre and cross the limit. There are things fans have done for their celebrities which may have been rather bizarre.

Kohli’s fans are always anxious to see him. Several spectators have made it to the ground despite the stadium’s extremely tight security. The bizarre thing about Kohli, who is currently dominating cricket worldwide, is that there are several images of supporters kissing his posters.  One of these incidents occured today in one of the branches of Madame Tussauds. 

A girl who visited Madame Tussauds recorded herself kissing the wax statue of Virat Kohli. He even gave Kohli’s statue a kiss. They even managed to get the video captured while the female fan was kissing. On Twitter, the video of this unusual incident has gone viral. 

Some humorous comments have also been made on this. When and where this video was shot are unknown. The responses, though, are astounding. Why didn’t she die before witnessing this, a female user said.Even the effigies are not immune from them, another user said. One person responded to this incident and said that it is waxual harrasment. Such incidents just prove how big of a fan following a player like Kohli has. 

How is Virat Kohli faring on the field?

Kohli is currently with the Indian side and taking part in the four-match Test series for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia. He was batting well in the first innings of the second Test but due to a controversial call by umpire Nitin Menon and third umpire saw him go back to the pavilion in disappointment.

The former Indian team captain achieved a rare feat when he came to the crease in the second innings as he became the fastest batter to 25000 International runs and was the second Indian to breach the 25K run mark. Things on the field are going well for Kohli and he would look to continue that with a stellar run of form in the next few games.
