The Apex Cricket Council has released the anthem of the 2023 ODI World Cup, ‘Dil Jashn Bole’, as the marquee event is all set to start with a few days to go in the host nation of India. Notably, India last hosted the tournament in 2011, when the MS Dhoni-led side captured the title after defeating Sri Lanka in the final match at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Following that, the Men in Blue suffered defeats in the semi-final clashes of the 2015 and 2019 ODI World Cups.

Speaking about the anthem, star leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal failed to find a spot in India’s World Cup squad, but his wife, Dhanashree Verma, has been attracting attention as she starred in the World Cup anthem song with Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh. Notably, the three-minute, 17-second anthem captivated the audience with World Cup excitement as Dhanashree, who is known for her dance skills, rocked along with Ranveer Singh with grace.

Moreover, the great music director Pritam also featured in the anthem, along with renowned sports broadcaster Jatin Sapru, who dazzled everyone with his phenomenal acting skills in the 3-minute song. The official broadcaster of the ODI World Cup is Star Sports, where Jatin Sapru will be seen with his exceptional hosting and commentary during the play.

Meanwhile, renowned sensational star Ranveer Singh was extremely thrilled to be part of the anthem. The Bollywood actor feels it was a celebration of the sport, which the whole nation loves. “Being part of this anthem launch for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 is truly an honour. It’s a celebration of the sport we all love,” Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh said.

“Cricket is India’s greatest passion and composing ‘Dil Jashn Bole’ for the biggest World Cup ever, has been a tremendous honour for me. This song is not just for 1.4 billion Indian fans but for the whole world to come to India and be a part of the biggest celebration ever,” Music Director Pritam said.
