Watch: Hasan Ali hilariously pulls Azam Khan’s cheeks in the middle of an interview in Pakistan Super League 2023
Islamabad United pacer Hasan Ali tried to mess up with his PSL teammate Azam Khan after winning the match against Quetta Gladiators on Friday. Islamabad registered a convincing victory against Quetta in Karachi. Azam was the star of Islamabad’s innings scoring 97 off 42 balls with nine fours and eight sixes.
The wicketkeeper batter was giving an interview to the host after the match. Meanwhile, Ali came running out of nowhere and left after pulling Azam’s cheeks. The host also controlled herself and burst out into laughter watching the whole drama so close. However, Azam didn’t get much distracted and continued to give the answer.

Islamabad registered a big win against Quetta
The 24-year-old was awarded Player of the match for his fiery innings as Islamabad posted a mammoth total of 220 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in their 20 overs. Islamabad lost 4 wickets for 71 runs in 9.5. After that Azam and Asif Ali changed the gears and put up a partnership of 98 runs for the fifth wicket. Asif got out after scoring 42 runs off 24 balls with one four and four sixes.
Faheem Ashraf added the finishing touches to the innings, smashing 17 runs off just six balls. Azam got out in the last ball with just three runs away from his century. Mohammad Hanain and Odean Smith scalped 2-2 wickets for Quetta, while, Naseem Shah and Aimal Khan shared a wicket each.
Chasing a big total, Gladiators lost Martin Guptill for a duck in the very first over of the innings. Quetta were reduced to 26 for 3 in 3.1 overs. After that, Mohammad Hafeez (48 off 26) took charge with skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed (41 off 36) and added 69 runs for the fourth wicket. The Gladiators again started losing wickets at regular intervals and were bowled out for 157 runs in 19.1 overs losing the match by 63 runs. Fazalhaq Farooqi and Hasan Ali scalped 3-3, while the skipper Shadab Khan and Abrar Ahmed shared 2-2 wickets for Islamabad.
