Lucknow Super Giants wicketkeeper batter Nicholas Pooran seems to have gotten an insatiable hunger for Indian food. Ahead of the game against Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur, he went out to try Daal Baati alongside Ravi Bishnoi and others. While the former enjoyed the food as his tone suggested. Meanwhile, ahead of the Super Giants’ reverse fixture against Punjab Kings in Mohali, Pooran and Arshdeep Singh had a hilarious conversation over Daal Makhani.

The former West Indies white-ball skipper jokingly asked Singh to take him out for the dish. In reply, the India player said that there is a life beyond Daal Makhani. However, the left-hander, Pooran wasn’t ready to budge. After this, Singh jokingly asked not to hit sixes in the game to get the taste of the dish.

Nicholas Pooran will be in action against his former team

Meanwhile, the Trinidadian will be in action on April 28 against his former team, Punjab Kings. From 2018 to 2021, he played for the 2014 finalists. Last year, he shifted to Sunrisers Hyderabad for 14 crores INR but is now part of the LSG for 16 crores this year. Meanwhile, both teams will be in action in Mohali.

The last game between the two teams was won by the Kings, thanks to Sikandar Raza’s maiden IPL fifty. Talking about both teams, they are at eight points after playing seven games. Both have won the same number of games, i.e. four. The only thing that separates them is their Net Run Rate (NRR). A win for both teams will push them closer in contention for the playoffs spot.
