WATCH: Indian Team reaches Ahmedabad to play ODI World Cup 2023 game vs Pakistan
The 2023 ODI World Cup game between India and Pakistan is the biggest game of the tournament. Both the teams have won their first two games to maintain a 100% record. The fans are excited as the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad will be a cauldron come Saturday.
The Pakistanis began the tournament with a win over the Netherlands and followed it up by beating Sri Lanka. Both the games were played in Hyderabad where Pakistan had set their home base so far. For the first time, Babar Azam and his side will travel to another part of India to play during the ODI World Cup 2023.
The Indian Cricket Team have played some amazing cricket in their first two games so far. Rohit Sharma’s team began with a six-wicket win over Australia on Sunday in Chennai. This was followed by an 8-wicket win on Wednesday in New Delhi versus Afghanistan.

Shubman Gill is likely to feature during the big game on Saturday. The 24-year-old was seen batting and sweating it out in the nets on Thursday. India had missed the services of Gill during the first two games of the ODI World Cup 2023.
There is another question that awaits Rohit Sharma and this time it is from the bowling department. Shardul Thakur was drafted in place of Ashwin now the question arises if the Indian team should persist with Thakur or not. In case a change is needed then Shami could be given a re-call or Ashwin could be given his second game of the tournament.
The Pakistan team on the other hand may go in with the same playing XI that won on Tuesday against Sri Lanka. Abdullah Shafique replaced Fakhar Zaman and scored his first century in ODI Cricket. Babar Azam is yet to strike big but Mohammad Rizwan’s century was timely in the six wicket in Hyderabad.
