Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have won their fifth IPL title with a dramatic last-ball victory over the defending champions Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. After that, CSK and the skipper MS Dhoni have been getting heartfelt reactions from fans all over the world. One of the best reactions came from the ex-CSK player Kedhar Jadhav.

Jadhav, who has been a part of CSK in the past couldn’t control his excitement during his commentary stint for Jio Cinema after Ravindra Jadeja hit back-to-back boundaries to clinch a thrilling victory for CSK. His reaction went viral on social media and the fans have been loving this gesture from the former CSK player.

Talking about the match, CSK won the toss and elected to field first in a rain-affected final encounter. Batting first, GT posted a big total of 214 runs for the loss of 4 wickets. The defending champions got a flying start as Shubman Gill and Wriddhiman Saha put up a partnership of 67 runs for the first wicket in seven overs before Gill got trapped by Ravindra Jadeja followed by the lightening fast stumping by MS Dhoni after scoring 39 runs off 20 balls hitting seven boundaries.

CSK registered a thrilling victory in the final

After that, Saha took charge of the innings along with Sai Sudharsan as they both added 64 runs for the second wicket. Saha got out after 54 runs off 39 balls with five fours and a maximum. While Sudharsan played the best knock of his IPL career as he got out after scoring 96 runs off 47 balls smashing eight fours and six sixes. Skipper Hardik Pandya remained unbeaten by scoring 21 off 12 balls with two sixes.

Chasing the winning total, CSK openers just played three balls of the first over before rain decided to play spoilsport. After that, the match was reduced to 15 overs and CSK now needed 171 runs as per the DLS method to win. Devon Conway and Ruturaj Gaikwad put up a partnership of 74 runs for the first wicket in just 6.3 overs. Gaikwad got out after scoring 26 runs off 16 balls, while a couple of deliveries later, Conway also lost his wicket after scoring 47 off 25 balls with four fours and two sixes.

After that, Ajinkya Rahane, Ambati Rayadu, and Shivam Dube played a handful of knocks that helped CSK to get closer to the target. Rahane got out after scoring 27 of 13 balls while Rayadu scored 19 off 8. Dube remained unbeaten on 32 runs off 21 balls, but it was Jadeja who finished things off for CSK when 10 runs were needed from the last two balls. He smashed a six on the penultimate balls and a four on the last ball of the match by Mohit Sharma as CSK registered a thrilling victory to clinch their fifth IPL title
