WATCH: Mumbai Indians releases tribute video on former captain Rohit Sharma

Five-time IPL winners, Mumbai Indians have uploaded a tribute video for their former skipper Rohit Sharma. The former champions have appointed Hardik Pandya as the captain of the team. Talking about the former, he was made captain of the team in 2013. In the middle of the season after five to six games, Sharma was asked to lead the team after Ricky Ponting was dropped.

For the first time in IPL history, MI won the title and went on to win five titles till 2020. In the last three seasons, the team played in the playoffs only once, i.e., 2023. Meanwhile, with him being 36 years old and keeping the future in mind, the team has replaced him as captain.
