Former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni for his calm nature and brilliant presence of mind even during the most important movement of the game. He has given Indian fans so many moments to cherish like winning 2007 20-20 World Cup and ending the 28-year wait for the World Cup in 2011 and also leading the side to the Champions Trophy victory in 2013. With all these achievements, Dhoni also became the first Indian wicketkeeper batter to score a double ton in Test cricket.

Australia toured India for a four-match Test series in 2013 and were unable to win a single Test against the hosts. It all started with the first match in Chennai, the second home of Dhoni, as he is also the skipper of the Chennai franchise in the Indian T20 League. Batting first at the Chepauk Stadium, the visitors scored 380 runs in their first innings, powered by the century of the skipper Michael Clarke who got out after scoring 130 runs off 346 balls. Ravichandran scalped 7 wickets for the hosts.

Now coming to in the second innings of the match, India lost the first two for just 12 runs. After that Cheteshwar Pujara (44 off 74) and Sachin Tendulkar (81 off 159) added 93 runs for the third wicket. Tendulkar then put up a partnership of 128 runs for the fourth wicket with Virat Kohli who scored a magnificent century scoring 107 runs off 206 balls. As the visitors were only recovering by the innings played by Kohli, Dhoni came in at number six to haunt the Aussies.

The wicketkeeper smashed his first double hundred in Test cricket as he got out after scoring 224 runs in 265 balls. The Indian skipper hit 24 fours and six sixes in his innings. He also 140 runs for the ninth wicket with Bhuvneshwar Kumar (38 off 97). India scored 572 runs taking a lead of 92 runs in the first inning.
