Pakistan seamer Haris Rauf is currently playing for the Lahore Qalanders in the ongoing season of the Pakistan Super League. He has wished to dismiss the star batters of the world at the moment, namely Virat Kohli and current Men in Green skipper Babar Azam.

In a video shared on Qalandar’s social media handle, Harif Rauf could be seen talking to Peshawar Zalmi skipper, Babar Azam during a practice session. During the conversation, the speedster said that he wants to dismiss him and Kohli at any cost.

“No matter what happens, I just need to take your wicket! Only [Virat] Kohli and you are the exceptions right now. Kane Williamson was saved from slip twice. But I have these 3-4 players in my mind,” said Rauf.

Watch it here:

Haris Rauf has had a below-par PSL season so far:

‘Rauf has definitely dismissed him on a few occasions in the nets’, the Zalmi skipper replied. But in response, the pacer said he wanted to get his wicket in a game.

Talking about the battle between Kohli and Rauf, they both faced each other in the 20-20 World Cup group stage match last year in Australia, where the former Bangalore franchise captain emerged victorious.

Rauf will have an another opportunity to dismiss his national side skipper in the 23rd match of the PSL where Peshawar and Qalanders will face against each other in the reverse fixture, scheduled to take place in Pindi Club Ground, Rawalpindi on Tuesday, March 7.

Lahore is presently at fourth position on the points table with two victories out of three games. On the other hand, Peshawar is at the bottom place after playing four games with two victories and as many losses.

Babar Azam has had remarkable results with the bat, so far, as he has scored 171 runs at a strike rate of 131.53 in four games. He has two half-centuries against his credit and has scored the most runs for his franchise this year. Rauf have not lived up to the expectation for his club team as he has been able to pick only two wickets in the season so far.
