RCB enjoy a huge fan base whether it is in the IPL or WPL, their fans support them wholeheartedly every year and this year too it’s no different. RCB didn’t have a successful season last year and this year they will enter the tournament to turn it around.

The atmosphere outside the stadium before the match was lively as hundreds of RCB fans queued outside the ground to make it in to support their franchise. As the teams entered the stadium in their respective buses, they were greeted by cheerful RCB fans of all genders and age groups flocking outside the stadium waiting in anticipation to go in. Home advantage could prove to be significant for RCB this year

The first phase of the WPL will be played in the M. Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru which means that RCB has a huge advantage this year to turn the tide in their favour as there will be a sea of red in every match that they will play. Smriti Mandhana who is one of the finest Indian batters in the world had a dismal season with the bat last year which affected the team’s performance. She will be desperate to turn it around for RCB this year and for that, she will have to lead the group by churning out runs with the bat like she does at the international stage.

RCB will miss the services of Heather Knight this year who provided played a significant role last year finishing the games on her own. However, they still have some stalwarts in the form of Ellyse Perry and Sophie Devine and their performance will be crucial for RCB if they want to lift the trophy this year.
