Team India is all set to lock horns against the Men in Green on September 10 during the Super Fours of the Asia Cup 2023. Notably, Rohit Sharma’s side grabbed one point after a washout against Pakistan, whereas they got two points after an emphatic 10-wicket win against Nepal. The Men in Blue will be looking to win the ongoing tournament, which will give them a major boost just before the ODI World Cup, which is all set to commence in less than a month in the host country, India.

Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma’s side has arrived in Colombo for their first Super Four match. Team India has been received with a rousing reception once they check in to the capital city from Pallekele. Notably, the Men in Blue will be looking to win the upcoming match against Pakistan, which will help them make their way into the finals. During the Asia Cup 2022, Rohit Sharma’s side could not reach the finals after suffering back-to-back defeats against Pakistan and Sri Lanka in the Super Fours.

Notably, Indian star batter KL Rahul has joined the squad ahead of the Super Fours, which will provide them with a major boost. The wicketkeeper batter sustained an injury during the IPL 2023 while playing against RCB. Meanwhile, the 31-year-old batter took to social media and thanked the staff for helping him make his comeback ahead of the marquee event.
