Watch: Umesh Yadav clean bowls Todd Murphy with a beauty, sends stumps cartwheeling
India are locking horns against Australia in the third Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy at the Holkar Cricket, Indore. The hosts, currently, lead the four-match Test series 2-0. Indian skipper, Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to bowl first.
India made two changes in their side. They brought in Shubman Gill and Umesh Yadav in place of KL Rahul and Mohammad Shami, respectively.
On the other hand, the visitors are without the likes of their regular skipper Pat Cummins, who has missed the third Test due to family problems. Steve Smith will lead the team in his absence. Left-arm seamer Mitchell Starc has replaced his captain and Cameron Green has come in place of David Warner.
On Day two of the first session, India made a comeback, and inside two hours, India bundled out the Kangaroos under 200. The star performer with the ball was right-arm seamer Umesh Yadav, whose reverse swing troubled Australia’s middle and lower order. The pacer from Vidharbha bowled a ripper to dismiss the Australia’s young off-spinner Todd Murphy with a peach of a delivery.
