David Warner celebrated his second life by making life miserable for the Pakistani bowlers. The left-handed batter welcomed Haris Rauf with a four and followed it up with a flicked six. That shot from David Warner nearly cleared the stadium before hitting the roof.
Australia had scored 185 for no loss at the end of the 27th over with David Warner and Mitchell Marsh going great guns. The Australian team needs to win this game in order to move up the table. Pat Cummins-led team has played three games and won just once.
The Pakistanis on the other hand began the tournament well with two wins before the loss to India. Shadab Khan was benched after his less than impressive performances in recent times. This is the reason why Usama Mir was included in the team for the huge game on Friday.
