The stage is all set to host the second semi-final match of the ODI World Cup 2023 between five-time world champions Australia and South Africa, slated to take place on November 16 at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Notably, both sides have met early, where Proteas thrashed Australia in the league stage of the marquee event.

However, their side didn’t look back after their first two losses and went on to win seven straight matches, placing themselves in the third spot in the league stage of the ODI World Cup 2023.
