Virat Kohli is one of the most loved sportspersons and his huge fan following, both on and off the field, has amazed the world many times. Kohli’s insane popularity is not just limited to India as he has won hearts globally with his batting heroics.

The Pakistan Super League (PSL) opening clash between Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans witnessed craze for the global superstar in Pakistan.

A fan present at the Multan Cricket Stadium on Monday was spotted holding a placard that displayed the message,

“Wish to see Virat Kohli in Multan.” It clearly reflects the love Pakistani fans have for the former Indian skipper and the picture soon went viral on social media.

Twitter users labeled the 34-year-old “Universal Boss” and “The Greatest of All Time” (GOAT). One user commented, “GOAT has fans everywhere in the world,” while another user said, “Virat Kohli is a brand!”

Some fans expressed their desire to see Kohli playing the Asia Cup in Pakistan.

“I’m also a big fan of Virat Kohli. Please come to Pakistan and play Asia Cup Virat Kohli,” wrote a Twitter user.

Kohli is back to his best after a dry spell in the last few years. The run-machine has hit three centuries in the last two months and played a match-winning knock against arch-rivals Pakistan in the Cricket Governing Body Men’s 20-20 World Cup.

Kohli is, currently, on Border–Gavaskar Trophy assignment and is gearing up for the second Test match against Australia. He scored just 12 runs in the first Test but will be eager to roar back in the next match as he looks to end his century drought in the longer format. The second Test will begin on February 17 in Delhi.
