Notably, India skipper Rohit Sharma and young opener Shubman Gill produced magnificent half-centuries to guide their side to a great win against Nepal on September 4 in Kandy, Sri Lanka. Meanwhile, Nepal skipper Rohit Paudel also shared that they have interacted with Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, which has given them a lot of experience. In addition, the 21-year-old skipper was extremely thrilled after his side performed well against the top-notch team. Notably, the right-handed batsman lauded their openers for giving a great start against India and was happy with their performance. Moreover, the middle-order batter feels the score of around 270 could have made a difference for them against the Men in Blue.

“We talked with Rohit and Virat and they gave lots of experience to us and this will be very useful for us. Overall I am happy with the performance of the boys especially with the bat. I think the openers did a very good job. In the middle order, we could have done better. I thought somewhere around 260-270 would have been a good score. If you talk overall, I am happy with the performance,” Rohit Paudel said in the post-match press conference.
