Four matches will be held in Pakistan, while nine matches will be played in Sri Lanka.

There will be group-stage matches which will be followed by Super-4 stages. After that, the final will take place on September 17. Earlier, the whole tournament was scheduled to be played in Pakistan but the Indian Cricket Board said that it will not send its team to Pakistan. However, Pakistan Cricket Board also didn’t accept moving the Asia Cup out of Pakistan.

ACC accepted the hybrid model on Thursday

Ultimately, the second option of the hybrid model has been accepted. The organizers will soon announce the complete schedule of the tournament, providing further details on the matches and venues. However, the ACC, on Thursday, accepted the hybrid model with four matches to be played in Pakistan and nine matches in Sri Lanka
