‘Yr ye sb post na karo aisa lagta hai ab nhi khelega’ – Fans react as IPL Auctioneer Richard Madley pens down special message for MS Dhoni ahead of IPL final

After 58 days and 74 intense games, Indian Premier League 2023 is set to get a champion on Sunday. It will end there where it all started on March 31 with a nail-biting game between Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans. Now, on Sunday, CSK will take on GT in the final game of the season. However, ahead of the game, wishes for both of the teams are coming from all around the globe.

Meanwhile, CSK skipper MS Dhoni received a heartwarming wish from former IPL Auctioneer Richard Madley. Madley was the man who sold Dhoni to CSK in IPL 2008 at a huge one-million-dollar paycheck. Madley, in his latest tweet, shared an image of MSD’s signature and captioned it with, “Selling #Dhoni in the first #IPL auction was a career highlight & meeting him was very special. He signed this for my son @harrymadley6. Good luck today #CSK #WhistlePodu #Yellove.”

Notably, Dhoni was the costliest buy in the Inaugural season of the Indian Premier League. However, he has been value for money with both bat and captaincy skills. He has led CSK to 10 IPL finals in 14 seasons and has won four out of them. He is one of those players to stay with a single franchise since its inception, though he made it to Pune but it was when CSK was not participating.

Who will win the final battle?

Speaking about the final encounter of the season, Chennai Super Kings will be keen to take revenge for the season opener against Gujarat Titans. However, they might be thinking about the plans to stop Shubman Gill, Mohammed Shami, Mohit Sharma and Rashid Khan. They will trouble MSD and his team if not stopped on time.

On the other hand, GT will be riding on confidence after a massive win over Mumbai Indians in the qualifier 2. The team will expect Shubman Gill to continue his dominance as he is in red-hot form after scoring three centuries in the last four innings. However, the team will have to stop the opening pair of Devon Conway and Ruturaj Gaikwad if they want to outplay CSK from the game. However, it will be an interesting night for all the fans and may the best team wins.
