20-20 Women’s World Cup 2023- India’s predicted playing XI for the semi-final clash against Australia
India is set to play in the semi-final of the 20-20 World Cup against five-time champions Australia. Australia is unbeaten going into this game and would want to retain the championship by winning their next two matches.
India have lost only one game in this tournament which was a close game against England. It would be a big upset if India comes out on top tomorrow against Australia. All the Indian team players have to play like a unit if they want to beat this strong Australian side. Let’s take a look at the Indian side that will play the semi-final tomorrow.
Predicted XI for India Women vs Australia Women : –
Top Order
Smriti Mandhana, Shafali Varma, Jemimah Rodriguez, Harmanpreet Kaur
The Indian team vice-captain Smriti Mandhana was at it’s brilliant best once again as she played a magnificent knock of 87 against Ireland in their last game. The other opener, Shafali Verma has had a tough going this tournament but still can be very lethal against Australia. If she gets going, it would be very tough to stop her.
Jemimah Rodriguez, the match winner for India against Pakistan is also a key player in the Indian line-up. She provides the much needed stability in the batting order and her temperament towards each and every game is spot on right from the start. Harmanpreet Kaur, the skipper is calm and composed during chases but knows she has the ability to hit big when needed. Her leadership needs to be on point for India to stand any chance against Australia
