The Major League Cricket (MLC) in the United States of America has started on a good note. The T20 tournament started with the Texas Super Kings’ comfortable win over the Los Angeles Knight Riders. The tournament features 6 teams who will face each other for the coveted Trophy. The top 2 teams after the league stage will face each other in Qualifier. The eliminator will take place between the sides who finish 3rd and 4th, respectively, in the league stage.

The winner of the Qualifier will qualify for the finals directly. The loser of the Eliminator will be knocked out of the tournament. The challenger will be a second chance for the loser of the Qualifier and winner of the Eliminator to make it to the finals. The winner of the Qualifier and Challenger will face each other in the final of the tournament.

Many good players are taking part in the tournament. Some of them have already set the stage on fire. Here are some of the Pakistani players who are taking part in the tournament: Imad Wasim, Shadab Khan, Harris Rauf, Sami Aslam, Saif Badar, Ehsan Adil, Hammad Azam, Saad Ali, Mukhtar Ahmed, and Nauman Anwar.

Capped Pakistani players in MCL 2023

There are a total of 10 Pakistani players in the tournament. Out of them, 7 are uncapped talents and 3 are established players in international cricket. Harris Rauf, Imad Wasim, and Shadab Khan are capped players from Pakistan who are lighting up the tournament.

Haris Rauf claimed the wicket of Quinton De Kock in the match against Seattle Orcas. Shabad Khan is also playing with Haris Rauf for San Fransisco Unicorns. In the game against MI New York, Shadab scored 61(30) with the bat and claimed the wicket of Dewald Brevis with the ball. Representing Seattle Orcas, Imad Wasim has been great as an All-rounder. Against Washington Freedom, Wasim returned with a bowling figure of 1/19 and scored an unbeaten 43(38) with the bat. Against Unicorns, Wasim claimed 2/24 with the ball.
