MI New York defeat Texas Super Kings to book their berth in final of MLC 2023

MI New York (MINY) beat the Texas Super Kings (TSK) in a thrilling contest at Grand Prairie Stadium during the Major League Cricket (MLC) 2023 qualifier 2. The win also secured MINY a spot in the final match of the tournament, where they will be taking on the Seattle Orcas on July 30. Earlier, MINY defeated the Washington Freedom in the eliminator match before booking their berth in Qualifier 2, whereas the Texas Super Kings lost the match against the Seattle Orcas in the first qualifier.

Notably, MI New York was in fourth place before the playoffs, but their remarkable performance helped them book their place in the final. Notably, it won’t be easy for MI New York to take down the table-toppers Seattle Orcas during the final owing to their high level of confidence after a dominant performance over the Texas Super Kings in the playoffs. In addition, both teams are just one match away from clinching the title of the inaugural edition of MLC 2023.
