Babar Azam and co. are all set to lock horns against the Men in Blue on September 10 for their second match of the Super Fours in the ongoing Asia Cup at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Notably, the Pakistan team remains undefeated so far in the ongoing Asia Cup 2023, as they defeated a Shakib-Al-Hasan-led Bangladesh side on September 6 at Lahore in their opening game of the Super Fours.
Meanwhile, Pakistan skipper Babar Azam released some bold verdicts ahead of the India-Pakistan clash during the pre-match conference. The stylish right-handed batter believes their side is dominating every team in the Asia Cup. In addition, the Lahore-born cricketer feels the big matches are won by fast bowlers. Moreover, the 28-year-old cricketer says they have a complete pack of pacers, which is the secret behind their winning the games.
“I am proud of my pacers. We dominate everyone. Big matches and tournaments are won by fast bowlers. I have my belief in them. The secret behind their success is that they stay united and have belief in themselves. If one does not have a good day, the other one steps up and covers up for it,” Babar Azam said in the pre-match press conference.

The star cricketer stated that they are training hard and focusing on the things that they can control, while clarifying that one can’t control rain during the game. In addition, the top-order batter also added that he does not feel that the rain would play spoilsport in their next game.
“Rain is not in our control…it rained for a few days but today it is clear. We have been training hard. We are focusing on things we can control. It rained four days.
