Rajasthan Royals star Yashasvi Jaiswal struck a magnificent century that guided Team India to register a magnificent win over Nepal by 23 runs in the quarterfinal match of the Asian Games 2023. Notably, the Men in Blue will be facing the winner of the Bangladesh vs. Malaysia clash in their semifinal clash of the Asian Games 2023.

Talking about the match, India’s skipper, Ruturaj Gaikwad, won the toss and invited Nepal to field first. Notably, after opting to bat first, the Men in Blue posted a massive total of 202 runs in the given 20 overs. Later, while chasing, Nepal tried and fought well but fell short by 23 runs, which ended their journey to the Asian Games 2023 despite some historic performances in T20I records.

Meanwhile, India’s sensational star Yashasvi Jaiswal impressed every cricketing world through his remarkable performance for the IPL 2023, especially the century against the Mumbai Indians. Following that, the 21-year-old batter showed his lethal form in his Test debut against the West Indies, where he scored 171 runs in the first Test match. In addition, the RR batter also batted brilliantly during the fourth T20I against the West Indies.

The left-handed batter continued his great form at the Asian Games 2023 as well. The opening batter struck 100 runs from just 49 balls, featuring eight boundaries and seven sixes with a solid strike rate of 204, which guided Ruturaj Gaikwad’s Indian side to reach the semi-finals of the Asian Games in 2023.

Meanwhile, following the win, India’s star opener, Yashasvi Jaiswal, has opened up about the tactic and approach he uses during the play. The great batter reveals that he doesn’t think about his personal milestone during the play. In addition, the Uttar Pradesh-born cricketer says that he always wants to score runs with a commendable strike rate for his side during the play.
