‘DK bhai meri shaadi ka bata do’ – Check out Dinesh Karthik’s hilarious reply to fan’s unusual query

The Indian Cricket Team began its ODI World Cup 2023 with a win on Sunday. KL Rahul and Virat Kohli ensured India took home its first points against Australia with a six-wicket win in Chennai. Dinesh Karthik though grabbed headlines after interaction with a fan on Sunday.

Mitchell Marsh dropped Virat Kohli early in his innings when India was 10/3. This lapse proved costly as Rahul and Kohli added 165 runs for the fourth wicket to give India the win.

Dinesh Karthik is one of the commentators for the ODI World Cup 2023 tournament. The 38-year-old took to Twitter ahead of the game. The RCB wicket-keeper was posed with a rather hilarious question. Dinesh Karthik left the fan stumped with his hilarious reply.

Dinesh Karthik’s hilarious reply to fan question on Twitter –

Just like the Indian Cricket Fans, Dinesh Karthik was excited for the India versus Australia game. The Chennai lad had taken to Twitter and wrote “This Pitch will turn. Jadeja to have a super day today”.

One Pakistani fan then wrote to Dinesh Karthik and asked him “DK Bhai meri shaadi ka bhi bata do kab hogi”. Not one to leave a teasing delivery dished to him, Karthik replied “Bhai main Match ka bata sakta hu match-making ka nahi”

True to Karthik’s prediction Jadeja did have a whale of a time with the ball. The 34-year-old picked three for 28 from his 10 overs. Ravindra Jadeja began by getting Steve Smith out for 46 and then followed it up with two key wickets. Marnus Labuschagne was out for 27 when he was caught behind by KL Rahul and Alex Carey was out LBW for a duck.

The Indian spinners picked six wickets between them to skittle out Australia for 199. Kuldeep Yadav picked 2/42 which included the scalps of David Warner and Glenn Maxwell. Veteran spinner Ashwin then got into the act when he had Cameron Green out for 8 caught by Hardik Pandya.

India chasing 200 to win were reeling at 2/3 when their top three batters all fell for ducks. Mitchell Starc got the wicket of Ishan Kishan while Hazlewood removed Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer. The Indian team is set to take on Afghanistan in New Delhi on Wednesday in their second encounter.
