‘Well bowled’ – Fans react as Mohammed Shami fires savage answers in press-conference after India’s win over New Zealand

Team India beat New Zealand by four wickets in their fifth game of the ODI World Cup 2023. Notably, the Men in Blue place themselves at the top spot in the rankings after winning five straight games in the ongoing marquee event. India’s skipper, Rohit Sharma, sent them off the bat first after the toss. The Black Caps posted 273 runs, which helped India chase down the total with 12 balls to spare.

However, India’s right-arm pacer, Mohammed Shami, who had attended the press conference after India’s magnificent win, gave some savage answers to Indian reporters and journalists. India’s great seamer Mohammed Shami was named Player of the Match for his 5-wicket haul in his first game of the ODI World Cup 2023.

Notably, Mohammed Shami gets the chance to make his way into the starting lineup owing to Hardik Pandya’s injury, which he sustained in the Bangladesh clash at MCA in Pune. The 33-year-old cricketer was last seen in action during the ODI Series against Australia ahead of the ODI World Cup 2023, where he got another 5-wicket haul in his first ODI.

You’ve seen the results, which pace attack is better: Mohammed Shami

Question – talk about your 5 wickets also, Shami. Shami – Okay, ask me questions about that then.

Question – you stick to seam bowling only, what about that? Shami – Paaji, I know many more things also.

Question – Ferguson, Boult, and Henry were rated the best attack here. Shami – You’ve seen the results, which pace attack is better?

Question – fog arrived when New Zealand were bowling, did that benefit India? Shami – See, when you win people talk this way only, but when you lose they change their perception.

Watch out here:

Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma and Co. will have a break for 2-3 days ahead of their clash against defending champions England at Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on October 29. Following them, they will be facing Sri Lanka, South Africa, and the Netherlands to make their way into the semi-finals of the marquee event.
