Team India is all set to face South Africa for the second T20I, slated to take place on December 12 in Gqeberha. Notably, the first T20I between India and South Africa was washed out in Durban after rain halted the play on Sunday, December 10. However, both sides will be looking to play the remaining two T20Is.

The Men in Blue have recently won the T20I series against the new ODI World Cup 2023 champions by 4-1 and are headed to the next series with a mega boost. Moreover, Suryakumar Yadav-led Team India will be looking to defeate the hosts in the next T20I series to boost preparations for the T20 World Cup 2024, which is scheduled to take place in the months of May and June.

Meanwhile, according to recent reports, the weather may show up and interfere with South Africa’s and India’s T20 World Cup preparations in Gqeberha. Notably, there are likely to be a few rains in the host city of Gqeberha, where the conditions are expected to stay gloomy. According to Accuweather, there is a 63% chance of rain and a 99 percent cloud cover in Gqeberha, while there is a six percent likelihood of rain in the evening.
