Watch: ‘Ram ke chole bhature aagye’- Virat Kohli comes with epic reaction after he receives food in dressing room

Former India skipper Virat Kohli had a decent game in the ongoing second Test against Australia. During the second day’s play, he was looking good and was set to get a big score. However, after scoring 44 runs, he got out and once again, his wait for a Test century continues. Since November 2019, he is still waiting for his 28th Test century.

Meanwhile, a while after getting out, Kohli was seen discussing something with head coach Rahul Dravid. In the midst of the duo’s discussions, a team member (non-playing) bought some food. In reply, the former India skipper got excited. The video of the incident has been going viral. Meanwhile, the fans alleged that the food item was ‘Chole Bhature’ (Fried Flatbreads).

A few years ago, the right-hander revealed in an interview that the dish is one of his favorites. “Ram’s Chole Bhature in Rajouri Garden 110 per cent. That too, I’ll go to his shop and have it, not take away. By the time it comes home, it’s not a bhatura anymore. It feels like a stale bread. Fresh bhatura’s where you pop a hole with your finger along with some onions, mint chutney and some pepper pickle,” Kohli had explained on an episode of ‘Breakfast with Champions’ in November 2017.

Virat Kohli’s dismissal was the most controversial moment of the game

Meanwhile, after scoring 44 runs, the 2008 U19 World Cup winner was looking to get a big score. After all, the team needed it as well as they had lost four wickets for just 66 runs. However, Virat was given out lbw against Matthew Kuhnemann. The replays showed that the ball was hitting the front pad and the bat at the same time.

According to the rules, the umpires could have easily given it not out. However, the on-field umpire and the third umpire gave out the wrong verdict and the fans are been bashing the match officials.
