Former cricketers are in Qatar for the Legends League Cricket Masters to represent their respective teams. India Maharajas and Asia Lions locked horns on March 18 in the eliminator. The Lions led by former Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi won the match and advanced to the final which will be played on Sunday, March 19 against World Giants.

Shahid Afridi was seen signing an Indian flag in a video that has now gone viral. According to the footage, an Indian security guard saw the skipper of Pakistan and gave him the flag so he could sign it. Afridi seems to have signed the autograph immediately before the squad bus left the stadium.

With his all-around contributions, Shahid Afridi has had a respectable campaign thus far. In addition to taking three wickets with the ball, he has scored 41 runs. As captain, he also triumphed both times against the Gautam Gambhir-led India Maharajas. The fact that they eliminated Gautam Gambhir and his team from the competition pleased the crowd.

If we talk about the game, Afridi won the toss for the elimination game and decided to bat first. They scored 191 runs in 20 overs for five wickets. The top scorer for them was Upul Tharanga with 50 runs off 31 balls, while Afridi only managed to score one run.

Pravin Tambe took one wicket, while Stuart Binny and Pragyan Ojha each claimed two for the Maharajas. India Maharajas were bowled out for just 106 runs in 16.4 overs as a response after their batters were unable to form any partnerships.

In addition to taking one wicket, Shahid Afridi helped his team win by an 85-run margin. Despite sheer disappointment, some fans criticised the former Pakistan captain on social media in response to the popular video. Others criticised the Indian person for giving Shahid Afridi the flag.
