‘Isliye Pakistan me bhukamp aata hai’ – Fans troll Azam Khan as his video of working out goes viral on internet

Azam Khan, a young wicketkeeper-batter from Pakistan and the son of former Pakistan great Moin Khan, is often subject to criticism for his physique. It is sometimes harsh especially since they, at times, come from his own country’s former cricketers who are quick to dismiss him due to his lack of fitness. However, despite being unfit, Azam has developed himself as a major power hitter of the game on a global level.

Meanwhile, the 24-year-old, was recently spotted exercising, and a video of it is getting viral online. While a lot of his supporters encouraged him to keep working out, there were also some fans who again trolled him for being overweight. However, recently Azam did wonders in the recently concluded Pakistan Super League and help his team to get win many times.

Watch the video here:

Azam’s performance in the recently concluded T20i series against Afghanistan was forgettable as he was out for a duck in the opening T20I and scored only 1 run in the second match due to which the management decided to not include him in the final match. Many fans were let down by both his batting and wicket-keeping, and some had even chosen to point out his lack of fitness as the cause of his subpar performances.

I cannot shut everyone’s mouth: Azam Khan

Azam recently addressed his crticisers who constantly propagate unfavorable sentiment about him in an interview with a local media outlet and compare his form to his fitness. He said that he can’t shut everyone’s mouth as these are only those people who haven’t progressed in their life. The 24-year-old also said that he plays cricket for his own satisfaction.

“I cannot shut everyone’s mouth, if there is destructive criticism, keep it aside. Because those who write such things are often far inferior and have not progressed much in life. Those who label me as a pindi-pitched-based batsman should also observe my recent performances. While I respect their opinion, I do not play cricket to prove them wrong. Rather, I play cricket for my own satisfaction, and as long as that satisfaction remains within me, I will continue to play,” said Azam.
